Building › Openings
A window in an elevation, a facade study, or a wall that needs one recognisable opening rather than a whole building.

How it is madeSix over six in a rendered wall, with a stone lintel and a projecting sill. The wall is part of the stamp because a bare frame has no reveal and no shadow and reads as a grid of squares. Each glazing bar carries a dark sliver down its right and lower edge; that is the only depth cue in the piece.
