How it is madeFour bands, sea then foam then wet shingle then dry. The foam is a pale band run through a coarse noise alpha stencil so its edge is torn; a straight-edged white band reads as a stripe. 150 shingle stones grow larger and warmer as they come forward, and five boulders straddle the waterline with a bright wash of foam at each foot.
