How it is madeFour dune bands whose profile climbs over 78% of each period and drops over the remaining 22%, so the slip face is steep and the windward side is not. That asymmetry is the only thing separating a dune from a hill. Each lee side gets a darker shadow polygon, and one turbulence alpha wash over the whole frame gives the sand its tooth.
