About Rayzia

Rayzia is a vector and SVG editor that runs in the browser and costs nothing to start. We built it because the tools for making clean vector art had drifted somewhere they did not need to be: behind an installer, behind a subscription, and increasingly behind an AI plan you rent by the month. None of that is required to draw a shape well. So we removed it.

Why a serious editor should run in the browser

The old assumption was that real design software had to be a heavy desktop program. That assumption is out of date. Rayzia renders on the GPU through Skia and CanvasKit, so the canvas stays fast with thousands of objects on screen. There is nothing to install and nothing to update. Open a tab on Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS or a tablet and the full toolset is there.

Free means the whole editor, not a trimmed demo. Every tool, the AI, three cloud files and SVG and PNG export are yours at no cost. It works offline once loaded and saves as you go. We think a person should be able to open a browser and make a proper logo or icon set the same afternoon, without a card and without a download.

Bring the AI you already pay for

This is the part we care about most. Rayzia does not sell you AI. You connect an account you already own, such as Claude or GPT, and it works directly on the canvas: drawing, recolouring, arranging and editing real objects, every action one undo away. It runs on your key, which means the cost stays between you and your AI provider. We never sit in the middle marking it up.

The reason is simple. When a product bundles its own AI, it has an incentive to meter you, to lock your history to its plan, and to raise the price once you depend on it. Using your own key removes that incentive entirely. You keep control of the account, the spend and the model. We just give it a good place to work.

Your work stays on your device

By default your designs live on your machine, not ours. A file reaches our servers only when you choose to save it to the cloud. The AI runs on your own key, so your artwork is not routed through us to be resold or mined. We would rather hold as little of your data as possible than build a business on top of it.

We are also committed to open formats. A Rayzia document is SVG, natively, not a proprietary wrapper you have to escape later. Export is plain SVG and PNG. If you ever want to leave, your files are already in a format every other tool understands. No lock-in is not a slogan here; it is a consequence of using the open standard as our native format.

How we actually make money

Pro is $8 a month. It adds unlimited cloud files, 30 days of version history, share links without a watermark and PDF export. That is the whole business. If you want cloud storage and version history, that is what you pay for.

We do not sell your data, and we do not resell AI back to you at a margin. Those two lines fund a lot of products, and we decided early not to touch either. It keeps the incentives honest: we only make money when the paid features are genuinely worth paying for.

Rayzia is a focused product, and we intend to keep it that way. If you want to try it, the editor is at rayzia.com/vector/. No account is needed to start.

About Rayzia: common questions

Is Rayzia really free?

Yes. The free tier includes every tool, the AI integration, three cloud files and SVG and PNG export. Pro is $8 a month and adds unlimited cloud files, 30-day history, watermark-free share links and PDF export.

Do I need to pay Rayzia for AI features?

No. You connect an AI account you already own, such as Claude or GPT, and it runs on your own key. The AI cost stays between you and your provider. Rayzia never resells AI or adds a markup.

Where are my designs stored?

On your device by default. A file only reaches our servers when you choose to save it to the cloud. Because the AI runs on your key, your artwork is not routed through us to be resold.

Will I be locked into a proprietary format?

No. A Rayzia document is SVG natively, and you can export plain SVG and PNG. Your files are already in an open format that other tools can open.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Rayzia runs in any modern browser on Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS and tablets. It works offline once loaded and saves your work as you go.
