How it is madeThe ragged line is sampled once and everything obeys it. Wefts are drawn only where that line is still below them, so they disappear in bites rather than in a straight row; warps run past it as hanging threads with a curl and a drift, one in ten already broken off. Two loose wefts lie across the fringe. That order is the physics: the weft pulls out, the warp stays.
