How it is madeStitch and gap along a slow sine, each stitch a tapered ribbon with a few degrees of tilt. A darker tail carries on past both ends, which is the thread going down through the cloth; without it the row reads as a dashed line rather than as sewing. The shadow is the same builder run again, offset and blurred.
