How it is madeAn equilateral triangular lattice at side 104, plus three arms in every triangle from its centroid out to the corners. Hexagon-plus-spokes is NOT this pattern and was the first version of the stamp: a regular hexagon circumradius equals its side, so spokes and edges alternate at 60 degrees and their union is only the plain triangle grid, which renders with no stars in it at all. The slender lobes need line directions 30 degrees off the lattice and the centroid arms are the only lines that supply them. Both constructions were rendered side by side before this one was kept. Lines are filled quads at 5.2 units, not strokes.
