How it is madeLens-shaped strands leaning across the band at a 27-unit pitch, each a ribbon along a tilted spine with a sine width profile flattened to the 0.35 power so the strand stays fat almost to its ends. All of them share ONE linear gradient in objectBoundingBox units, so each strand gets its own dark-light-dark roll from a single def. Each strand also sits on a slightly wider dark copy of itself: without that seam the strands merged into one ochre bar at card size, which is what the first build looked like. Strands overhang both ends and are trimmed by the JS clip, so the border butts against a copy of itself without a seam.
