How it is madeA two-period sine stem with a leaf on every quarter period, alternating sides, and a bloom at each crest pushed out past the curve. Each leaf is set at the local tangent turned 70 degrees outward rather than straight up, which is what makes the leaves follow the stem instead of standing off it like a comb, and each carries a paler inner leaf at 0.9 bulge so it is not a flat blade.
